We journey to the heart of the Caucasus Mountains and enjoy the magnificent scenery of Mt Kazbek and its eternal snows. Then we travel to western part of the country and visit the sites in and around Kutaisi, including Gelati Monastery. Our journey will continue to Svaneti. Svaneti province is located in the heart of the Central Caucasus surrounded by mighty 5000 metre peaks, We explore the remote villages lying at their feet and admire their unique towers. Finally we explore Tbilisi.  

Outline Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive Tbilisil. Day 2: Excursion to Mtskheta. Continue trip along the river Aragvi Valley and Georgian Military Highway. On the road visit the Ananuri architectural complex. Arrive in Kazbegi. Walk in the area and enjoy the views of Mt Kazbek. Day 3: Visit the town of Gori. Excursion to Uplistsikhe ancient cave town. Visit Gelati Temple. Night in Kutaisi. Day 4: Drive to Svaneti. We reach Mestia, provincial centre of Svaneti. Mestia is surrounded by huge Caucasian mountains Ushba (4710m) and Tetnuldi (4975m). Day 5: Explore Mestia and take trip to village Ushguli. Visit the village, its medieval towers and enjoy the views of Mt. Shkhara (5201m). Return to Mestia. Day 6: Trip back to Tbilisi. Day 7: City tour of Tbilisi. Day 8: End of the tour.
